Tick tock, tick tock

I have decided that there are really not enough hours in the day.  Or at least not in the ones that I don’t have to be at work.  We still have so much work to do on the yard and the house.  Like my mom said yesterday, who hasn’t been over here in months, “How are you going to get all of this done?”  Hell if I know.  We just keep plugging away, project after project, pile of crap after pile of crap.  It seems neverending and like we’ll never get done.  But the clock is ticking whether we like it or not, so we’ll just do as much as we can and shove everything else in the bedrooms and the garage and hope it doesn’t fall out and kill us when we open the doors.

But I’m dying my hair right now, so at least I won’t have gray hair when I get hitched!

In more interesting news, we went and saw the Red Bull Flugtag on Saturday.  It was INSANE in Portland.  There were over 50,000 people there and it was impossible to get around.  We ended up going to a parking garage to get away from the people and discovered, much to our delight, that you could see the whole thing pretty much perfectly from the highest level of the garage.  SWEET!  Chicken even met us there.  It was really funny to watch and I’m glad we went, even if we have no time for fun!

I think my head is just about cooked, so I better sign off.  I can’t wait until all this insanity is over and I have more time for fun, relaxation and a normal life.  I might even blog more  ;)
